After lunch, we are going to head to Silver Pagoda, which is located within the Royal Palace terrain. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. In addition, you will also have a chance to discover the Royal Palace. The Palace is a magnificent example of Khmer architecture, built in 1866 on the site of the old town. We will see the Throne Hall and the charming Napoleon III Pavilion. Then visit Rong Damrei. Continue our tour at the National Museum, a red and elegant looking pavilion, designed in Khmer style in 1917 by Georges Groslier, which is located outer to the East of the Royal Palace. You will be surprised with the amazing Khmer arts that have been collected from all over the country, which are available on display in this Museum.
Breakfast at the hotel; transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for morning flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, transfer to hotel. Visit the earliest temples of the Angkor period at Roluos, including Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei for a useful chronological perspective on Angkor’s development.
In the afternoon, visit Pre Rup, the mountain temple, enjoy the great view over the peaceful countryside. Next stop are Ta Som, Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisaical Himalayan mountain lake. Visit Eastern Mebon, guarded at its corner by stone figures of elephant. Late afternoon, enjoy the last daylight at the Royal City of Preah Khan, built by King Jayarman VII, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder-tugging corridors.
Breakfast at the hotel; visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, with its huge statues depicting the churning of ocean of milk. Next stop includes famous Bayon, Baksei Chamkrong, Baphuon, and Bakheng.

Next stop are Takeo – one of Angkor’s Great Temple Mountain, the jungle – clad Ta Prohm Temple, and Srah Srang – a Royal Bathing Place.

Transfer to Siem Reap Airport for the return flight to Phnom Penh.
